Mikaela Bauerlein

Mikaela graduated with her Juris Doctor degree from Robson Hall Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba in June 2023. Prior to law school, Mikaela obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Criminal Justice in 2019 from the University of Winnipeg.

During law school, Mikaela volunteered with W.I.S.E. (Working in Support of Equality) Manitoba’s No Means No Program as a youth facilitator (2020-2021) and a coordinator (2021-2023). Mikaela also volunteered with Frontier College as an online tutor (2020-2022) and Sex Workers of Winnipeg Action Coalition through Pro Bono Students Canada (2020-2021).

Furthermore, throughout law school Mikaela worked at Legal Help Centre as an administrative assistant. In her last year of law school Mikaela had an externship at Legal Help Centre where she gained practical experience working with clients and managing her own files.

Since Mikaela’s experience at Legal Help Centre, she has made it her goal to assist clients with their legal issues by working with them to make their experience with the legal system as seamless as possible. She is particularly passionate about fostering a trusting relationship with clients and ensuring that clients feel comfortable every step of the way.
