Kara Hague

 It has always been Kara’s goal to put people first in her legal practice. When it comes to being a real estate lawyer, that means understanding the significance of the transaction for each client – clients are not just another number. She believes in educating her clients, being available to them and finally, being flexible in order to get the job done. 

When it comes to family law, Kara prides herself on practicing in an efficient and effective manner while understanding the deeply rooted emotions that accompany a separation. She works towards resolutions outside of Court, allowing her clients to reduce costs, be creative in their solutions, and move forward with positive co-parenting relationships. 

It is important to her to assist her clients in restructuring their families by focusing on the health of the family as a whole. She does this by helping clients resolve conflict through collaborative processes such as Collaborative Family Law and Mediation. 

Improving access to justice has also always been important to Kara. To her, this means providing flat rate services and predicable pricing as well as contributing to organizations such as Legal Help Centre that further seek to improve access to justice in our community.
